I am buying a used car from Copart and would appreciate if you can give me a feedback on the damage on the gear shift. Is the damage severe and is there damage to the transmission.
Below is the image of the damage, please examine the damage of the gear shift area and provide a feedback on whether I should buy it.
I do not see an advantage to buying a vehicle that you can see is being advertised as damaged. You could be looking at a broken transmission and someone trying to pass off the possibility that it is just a shifter issue. I can”t think of any good reason why and advertised picture would have part of the car disassembled in such a manner.
In my opinion It would be in your best interest to steer clear of this one and avoid purchasing it. The price is not a give away price. Not enough room for an extreme repair cost.
