James Morris

I have spent much of my adult life caring and thinking about others. I have primarily worked in mental health field; but, have worked with all of the "Special Populations." I have recently (7 years ago,) embarked on a new career (Driving big trucks.) This was my idea of a retirement plan. I'm able to travel and see the world while making/saving money. The joke's on me....actually very hard work, and i don't see anything other than interstates... I consider myself to be an especially compassionate, sensitive, caring man that has a broad range of life experiences - "been there, done that, got the t-shirt..." This has helped me develop experiential empathy which has guided me with serving others.I like Fox News and Law and Order. I've been a sports referee and umpire for the Tennessee Secondary Schools Athletic Association for a long time (sort of a hobby that pays.)I am looking for a life partner. She will be an intelligent woman that enjoys good conversation. The kind of love that I have to offer the right woman is: patient and kind...it does not envy or boast. It is not proud or rude...it is not self seeking. It is not easily angered, and keeps no record of wrongs. It will not delight in evil, but will rejoice in the truth. It will always protect, always trust, hope and persevere. . . My striving to be what I believe a Christian man should be is very important to me. If you understand this, then we are off to a good start. Having said that, If I present anything other than: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control, please bring this to my attention, so that I can continue to grow. . . . If you know where this comes from, I'm intrigued and impressed. While the aforementioned could understandably cause you to think that I am a "Pushy" Bible thumper, nothing could be further from the truth. While, like I have said, my Christian walk as a man is very important to me. I do study God's word, but this is very personal to me, and I am not inclined to push my beliefs onto anyone. I am however always willing to talk about this with whomever is interested.I hope you've heard something that interests you. Let me know, and maybe we can chat soon. . . . It's only conversation, but who knows ?
