If you are thinking there is a restriction, you are probably right. But the restriction would be after the fuel reaches the fuel rail. So look at the return line for restriction. A bend or kink from running over something or just a rock hitting it.
Just a thought… double check gauge for proper operation as well.

Jaxer, this truck has no return line. just pressure. the truck will run at 30 psi untill it reaches operating temps then the fuel pressure goes to 82 psi. gauge it good. it has to be electrical. because my scan tool shows a differant psi then my gauge. thanks for the help.
