What’s the trick to installing a new serpentine belt on a 3.1 engine in a 1998 Pontiac Grand Am?

    No trick at all. Place a 3/8 rachet into the end of the belt tensioner and rotate to allow the belt some play. remove the belt paying attention to how it was routed.
