I just failed my an emissions test with a fault code p0401: exhaust gas recirculation flow insufficient detected. Should I replace the EGR valve or try a different approach?
Most likely the EGR valve is fine. Depending on the vehicle(which you did not post) you most likely need to replace the EGR Regulator….
