The lights on my power door locks stay on and cause my 04 ford sport trac to run down the battery. What would cause this. I have had to start taking out the fuse #26 in order to make them go off. what would cause this.

your interior light switch may be turned on, or shorted internally. There may also be a wire getting power where it shouldn’t be. Try working the switch first and then start tracing wires.
