My 2003 KIA Sorento stopped starting, we took it to a mechanic and had it fixed. The starter keeps breaking off and falling into the flywheel. We have changed the starter and flywheel several times, how do I solve this?

It sounds like there is an alignment issue that needs to be rendered or the aftermarket starter is for the wrong year vehicle. I would try an original OEM Starter from a KIA dealer.
