New rebuilt motor got fuel but wont start. What part of the ignition system would be the problem? Or what part would more likely be?

  1. An Engine needs 4 things in order to run:
    1) Fuel
    2) Spark
    3) Compression
    4) Timing (all of the above at the right time)

So you are certain the fuel injectors are tossing in fuel, the next step would be to check for spark. If it has spark and fuel, the next step would be to perform a compression test. If you have good compression, good spark and good fuel, the next step would be to check for correct timing.

If you do not have spark, the ignition module is the most common failure component assuming you didn’t leave anything disconnected during the install.
