I’m getting po700 (general transmission probs), p0837 and p0839 codes – 4 wd high voltage swith codes. also part time dash message is mostly on (sometimes intermittent – on/ off)
I thought I saw a post elsewhere indicating I can change out a switch… can’t find it again, don’t know where or how to change out the switch if really possible.
any idea or help would be appreciated

P0837-4WD MUX SWITCH PERFORMANCE
SET CONDITION
The 4WD mixed switch input detected in an invalid range or irrational switch state.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Related DTCs present
Transfer case shifter out of adjustment
Transfer case position sensor out of tolerance
Powertrain/engine control module
P0839-4WD MODE SENSOR HIGH
SET CONDITION
When the 4WD Mode Sensor input circuit voltage raises above 4.78 volts for 5.72 seconds.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Transfer case position sensor input circuit open
Transfer case position sensor input circuit short to voltage
Transfer case position sensor
Powertrain/engine control module
Intermittent operation
It should be the transfer case position switch. The dealer should swap it out for around $250
