vehicle running – fuel, oil, temp gauges go to zero. Battery gauge stays at 14. Check gauges, battery, security lights come on. Front running light come on. Radio volume diminishes. After anywhere from 2-45 secs gauges come back, lights go out, radio volume higher. This event occurs frequently. Is it a wiring or instrument cluster problem? If instrument cluster bad, what’s causing radio volume and front running lights issues?

I would suggest pulling the radio fuse and test it to see if it quits and then if it does, you know there is an issue in that circuit that is affecting the others. If it doesn’t change, move on to the instrument cluster fuse, etc.
This should help assist in narrowing it down.
