the pully on my 1999 ford windstar went out as i was driving , after i
replaced the power steering pump that included new pully , i went to
start my van and it wouldnt start..turns over but wont start… did i
do something else to it by driving without power steering till pully
went out?
There is the possibility that you may have unplugged something while swapping out the power steering unit. You may want to start there first and just look around to see if you notice anything. There is the potential that when the pulley went, the belt may have damaged some wiring. You may need to check the crank sensor wiring, etc that may be int he area around the front of the engine.
