My van will crank but won’t start. When I turn on the ignition I don’t hear the fuel pump engaging and I’ve replaced the fuel pump relay. I can’t find a fuse for the fuel pump either. I have 8 volts going to the fuel pump and I’m not sure if it is suppose to be 12 volts. Any suggestions on what to check next.

  1. looking at the circuit, it appears that you should have 12 volts and the fuel pump fuse would be the PCM/ECM fuse. Check your ground connections at the pump, they get pretty rusty at times. Looks like you may need to check the fuel pump/oil pressure switch as well. You may want to check your fuel pressure to ensure it isn’t working.
