both the 85 and 90 used c6 trans. im using the trans from the 85 and installing it in the 90. ive heard mix results. my question is will the computer receive data from the 85 trans?

It is my understanding that the c6 is a vacuum operated transmission and not an electronic transmission. I think it will work just fine as long as they are both C6 transmissions used in the Bronco form 1978-1991. Some of the 1990-1996 Bronco’s had a E40D in them.
