Greetings, I had problems starting vehicle. Changed ecu & re-programed it. Still starting problems. Changed fuel pump, crankshaft pulse sensor, & fuse box. Did not do any re-programming after installing the pump, sensor, or fuse box. Car cranks but will not start. Do I need to program these parts also? Thanks
No, the only component that needs to be programmed is the ECU.
Hello, Dinamique yesterday I was doing Mot for my car Renault Laguna 200Dynamique and its fall. the mechanic says its abs pump fault and you need it to change. But how he knows it’s a abs pump, not fuses or leads? Thank you
ABS light is on
I’m sure he tested those. The good news is as long as the ABS light is on, the ABS just won’t work. This means you can continue to drive it only to remember that the wheels can lock up when you slam on the brakes just like the cars did back in the 70’s. You can drive it like this as long as you like.
i am having trouble with my renault master 2.2 2002 starting
i have had it on a computer in a garage and it came up with
Code P0032 H02S HEATER CONTROL CIRCUIT
HIGH BANK 1 SENSOR 1
I was wondering if you could possibly tell me
A little more about this ..
where it is located …
what it is …
and can i buy and fit it myself
thank you very much
The Code P0032 is set when the ECM detects an excessively high voltage through the heated oxygen sensor heater circuit
Oxygen Sensors (O2S) or Heated Oxygen Sensors (HO2S) need to reach a minimum operating temperature of 750 degrees F to produce an accurate voltage signal. The faster the heated oxygen sensor reaches that temperature the faster the sensor will start sending an accurate signal to the Engine Control Module (ECM).
In order to achieve the require temperature, a heater element is included inside the heated oxygen sensor. The ECM controls the heated oxygen sensor heater element based on signals from the engine coolant temperature and engine load. The ECM controls the heater element circuit by allowing current flow to ground.
The ECM monitors the voltage signal received through the heater element circuit and determines the state of the circuit by comparing the voltage detected with the factory specifications.
Code P0032 Possible Causes
– Faulty Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 1 Sensor 1
– Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 1 Sensor 1 harness is open shorted to ground
– Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 1 Sensor 1 circuit poor electrical connection
– Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 1 Sensor 1 circuit fuse
– Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)
petrol engine very noisy and rattling. sounds like a diesel. its booked in next week for timing belt, water pump and fan belt change. im not very mechanical but been reading up on the dephaser pulley. if all these were done would this be the best hope of making the engine sound more healthy? thanks
engine noise, like a humming while driving in any gear speeds up and down with the engine revs, but goes away altogether when you depress the clutch ? iv had a new clutch a year ago and also a new alt in it in the last few weeks
small light won’t turn off in back. it is a small light near the floor, next to the slidding door in the back.
useully it comes on when i open the door and turns off when i shut the door. Now it just stays on.
i dont really need it. is there someway to disable it!?
Hi all, I’m a bit new to this, so I might make a few mistakes. I have the above car in almost immaculate condition. But the other day I let my wife drive it for the first time as her car is being fixed.
She came home the other night and said your clutch pedal is very high.
Are they meant to be this high it is almost same height of brake pedal.
There is no problem in changing gear or any crunching. And no I don’t ride the clutch.
Hi, I own a 2009 Renault Logan Diesel which has a K9K DCI engine. After completing almost 115,000kms I had the engine rebuilt. At this time I got the Compressor and Cooling Coil of the AC changed too. The problem I face is as follows:
1. When the engine temperature goes high the Car engine shuts down when I press the clutch to change gears. If I switch of the Compressor then the car restarts again.
2. On RPM greater than 2500 the engine emits black smoke.
3. The engine leaks oil despite of changing all gaskets.
4. At speeds greater than 100kms the engine knocks slightly and does not give adequate pressure.
I drive almost 4000 kms a month and the car has clocked almost 155,000 Kms. If you solve one problem another starts. I have even changed the starter switch and the Oil Pump. All parts are original from the company.
