2010 Renault Logan

In idle, rpm oscillates a little; No codes presents. Many mechanics say me that the car is Old because to this it always oscillates.

In general when the rpm oscillates it is an indication of a vacuum leak. This can be from an external vacuum leak such as a crack in a hose. Or it can be from an internal vacuum leak inside the Idle Air Control Valve (Idle Speed Control).

Greetings, been struggling with a no start over 6mo. Problem 2.8v to injectors, no pulse, no power to crankshaft sensor. Just swapped the ecu. Still the same problem plus another problem that disturbs me. Glow plugs now only receiving 6v with ignition on instead of 11v. The glow plug control module has 2 small wires coming from the ecu, one with 12v , the other 11v. Also red wire in center 12v. Plus the 4 plug wires. Don’t know if this is because of the ecu swap or the control module is bad. Can I rewire this module somehow to get the 11v to the plugs? Please help. Thanks

I have limited information covering Renault vehicles. So I will go ahead and post this so others can respond in case they have some in site into this issue.

As for wiring the plugs direct from the battery I think you would need some kind of shut off switch so once it started you could cut power to them as they only need the glow plugs for starting.

Greetings, I had problems starting vehicle. Changed ecu & re-programed it. Still starting problems. Changed fuel pump, crankshaft pulse sensor, & fuse box. Did not do any re-programming after installing the pump, sensor, or fuse box. Car cranks but will not start. Do I need to program these parts also? Thanks

No, the only component that needs to be programmed is the ECU.

2007 Renault Laguna

Hello, Dinamique yesterday I was doing Mot for my car Renault Laguna 200Dynamique and its fall. the mechanic says its abs pump fault and you need it to change. But how he knows it’s a abs pump, not fuses or leads? Thank you

ABS light is on

I’m sure he tested those. The good news is as long as the ABS light is on, the ABS just won’t work. This means you can continue to drive it only to remember that the wheels can lock up when you slam on the brakes just like the cars did back in the 70’s. You can drive it like this as long as you like.

2002 Renault Masterhello
i am having trouble with my renault master 2.2 2002 starting
i have had it on a computer in a garage and it came up with
Code P0032 H02S HEATER CONTROL CIRCUIT
HIGH BANK 1 SENSOR 1
I was wondering if you could possibly tell me
A little more about this ..
where it is located …
what it is …
and can i buy and fit it myself
thank you very much

RESPONSE

The Code P0032 is set when the ECM detects an excessively high voltage through the heated oxygen sensor heater circuit

Oxygen Sensors (O2S) or Heated Oxygen Sensors (HO2S) need to reach a minimum operating temperature of 750 degrees F to produce an accurate voltage signal. The faster the heated oxygen sensor reaches that temperature the faster the sensor will start sending an accurate signal to the Engine Control Module (ECM).

In order to achieve the require temperature, a heater element is included inside the heated oxygen sensor. The ECM controls the heated oxygen sensor heater element based on signals from the engine coolant temperature and engine load. The ECM controls the heater element circuit by allowing current flow to ground.

The ECM monitors the voltage signal received through the heater element circuit and determines the state of the circuit by comparing the voltage detected with the factory specifications.

Code P0032 Possible Causes

– Faulty Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 1 Sensor 1
– Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 1 Sensor 1 harness is open shorted to ground
– Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 1 Sensor 1 circuit poor electrical connection
– Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 1 Sensor 1 circuit fuse
– Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)

petrol engine very noisy and rattling. sounds like a diesel. its booked in next week for timing belt, water pump and fan belt change. im not very mechanical but been reading up on the dephaser pulley. if all these were done would this be the best hope of making the engine sound more healthy? thanks

engine noise, like a humming while driving in any gear speeds up and down with the engine revs, but goes away altogether when you depress the clutch ? iv had a new clutch a year ago and also a new alt in it in the last few weeks
