2001 nissan maxima

I changed the thermostat and the car is still running hot. It blows out cold air and while I’m at a light the temp goes down. I can not find any leaks…Please help..

    Sounds like you may have an air pocket in the system that needs to be bled in order to get it out. This is assuming that you had hot air blowing out before you changed the thermostat.

    If the reason you changed the thermostat was that you had no hot air blowing out the dash, the most common reason for this would be a failed Electronic Blend Door Actuator(HOT/COLD DOOR) deep in the dash.
