I had problems to start my car. I changed the ignition switch. The new one is a Ac Delco D1492C .The keys of this switch don’t have chips on it. I programmed it with the information I found on internet. The car starts now, but the red security light stayed on all the time. How can I turn off this light? Will the car give me problems later if the light remain on?
Hi. I own a 2002 Buick Century. My low coolant light came on a few days ago but the temperature remained fine. All of a sudden yesterday my car temperature went way up and my car overheated. I pulled over immediately and the radiator reservoir was full of brown sludge. I added a little water after the temp went down and then 5 more miles down the road it overheated again. I left the car overnight and bought coolant today and put it directly into the radiator, but 10 minutes after driving it the car started to overheat again and white steam was pouring out as soon as I stopped. Any ideas what’s wrong?
I replaced the fuel pump in my car due to it just randomly shutting down while driving. Also replaced the fuel pressure regulator. after installing the pump the car would turn over but would only start if sprayed with starter fluid. That’s the reason for regulator. The gas isn’t getting to the engine. It still won’t start. I’m a disabled grandmother and try to do as much as I can myself. No money for service station. What else can I do.
i have a good fuel pump good relay and fuses checked grounds that i could find will run in park and on road then will just die then out of blue will start and run for 10 mn or 2 hours

I am transplanting the motor and transmission from a 1992 Buick Roadmaster into a 1988 Cadillac Brougham d’Elegance. Mechanically, a straightforward swap-but I plan on transplanting the fuel injection as well.
The Cadillac currently has the 307-200r4 setup.
I have a 2002 Buick Regal with a coolant leak. Two things have been done so far, both of which I believe were needed.
First the lower intake manifold gasket was replaced. Secondly, at a later date, I had the heater core replaced.
My question relates primarily to the heater core. There is what I’m calling a drain port (don’t know if that’s the correct name) on the firewall which I believe provides drainage for the heater assembly.
Should I ever see fluid coming out of this port?
Does the port drain the air conditioner as well? If it does then you would probably get condensation drainage.
I’m trying to narrow down my search for a continued leak.

Hello. I have a Buick LeSabre Custom 1987 3.8 (front-wheel drive) with automatic transmission, how do I change the seal affixed to the output shaft on the gearbox? I have already fitted out a bdel of the shaft from the wheel and out, (this part is about 50 centimeters), so I have therefore only the part that sits in the gearbox remains but can not get it. Hope you understand what I mean …
